The short version: PuddleJumps collects minimal data, stores everything on your device, and doesn't sell or share your information with anyone. We're parents too—we get it.

What We Collect

PuddleJumps collects only the information necessary to provide you with personalized weather recommendations:

• Child profile information: Name, age, gender, and temperature preference. This is stored locally on your device only.
• Location data: If you grant permission, we use your location to fetch local weather. Alternatively, you can manually enter a city. We don't store your location history.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Fetch weather data for your location or specified city
• Generate personalized outfit and activity recommendations
• Remember your preferences between app sessions

Third-Party Services

We use WeatherAPI.com to fetch weather data. When you use the app, your location or city name is sent to their servers to retrieve current conditions and forecasts. Please refer to their privacy policy for more information.

Data Storage

All personal data (child profiles, preferences) is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. We do not have access to this data, and it is not uploaded to any server.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Period.

Children's Privacy

While PuddleJumps is designed to help parents care for their children, the app is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
